Our AML and Verification Rules

Verification protects your funds and keeps Wildsino Casino compliant with the anti-money-laundering obligations of our Curaçao Gaming Control Board licence (OGL/2023/154/0987). This page sets out exactly what we check, when we check it and what we need from you.

Our AML Policy in Plain Terms

Wildsino Casino operates under licence number OGL/2023/154/0987, issued by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board. That licence binds us to anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism-financing rules, and we treat them as a floor, not a ceiling. Our compliance team applies risk-based controls to every account, from the moment of registration onward.

We do not accept players from restricted jurisdictions, including the USA, UK, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Sweden, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Single accounts only: if we find duplicates, we suspend the newer account and return any balance to a verified payment method you own.

When We Verify Your Account

Verification checkpoints

We verify identity at three points: at registration, where we screen your details against sanctions and politically-exposed-person lists; before your first withdrawal; and at thresholds set by our risk model. Deposits and play can begin before document checks complete, but no withdrawal leaves the platform until verification finishes.

  • Government-issued photo ID: passport, national ID card or driver licence, valid and legible on all four corners
  • Proof of address: utility bill or bank statement in your name, dated within the last 3 months
  • Proof of payment method ownership: card photo with middle digits masked, or a screenshot of your e-wallet or crypto wallet showing your name or wallet address

How Verification Works Step by Step

Reviews take up to 72 hours. Most checks finish within 24 hours when documents are clear and complete. Documents you upload are encrypted in transit and at rest, stored on servers with restricted access, and visible only to our compliance staff. We never share them with third parties except where the law requires it.

Upload everything through the Verification tab in your account, not by email or live chat.

  • Open your profile and select the Verification tab
  • Upload your ID, proof of address and payment method proof
  • Our compliance team reviews the files within 72 hours
  • You receive the outcome by email and an account notification
  • If anything fails, we tell you which document to replace and why

When We Ask for Source of Funds

For most players, ID and address checks are enough. Larger activity triggers an extra step: we may ask where the money wagered came from. This is not an accusation; it is a licence obligation that applies to all Curaçao-licensed operators.

Acceptable evidence includes payslips, a tax return, bank statements showing regular income, a sale contract for an asset, or documentation of a business you own. Crypto deposits may require a statement from your wallet showing the origin of funds. Once your source is confirmed, we record it and rarely ask again.

How We Monitor Transactions

Deposit and withdrawal rules

Every deposit and withdrawal passes automated screening for unusual patterns, structuring (splitting amounts to stay under thresholds) and third-party payments. Withdrawals go back to the same method you deposited with wherever possible, in line with our same-method rule. If a method cannot receive funds, such as a prepaid voucher, we return your balance to a bank account or e-wallet in your name.

Withdrawals are capped at 5,000 AUD per day and 20,000 AUD per month, with no fees from our side. E-wallet and crypto payouts process within 24 hours; cards and bank transfers take 1 to 3 business days. Amounts above these limits, or withdrawals that do not match your playing history, go to a compliance officer for manual review.

If Verification Fails or Stalls

Unverified accounts cannot withdraw, and we may freeze deposits over 2,500 AUD until checks complete. If documents are missing, unclear or expired, we suspend the withdrawal request and give you 30 days to supply replacements. After 30 days without a response, we close the account and return the balance to your verified payment method.

Suspected fraud, use of another person's payment method, or a failed source-of-funds check leads to a full suspension pending investigation. Confirmed breaches result in account closure, forfeiture of winnings tied to the breach and, where required, a report to the authorities. You can appeal any decision by emailing [email protected], and our compliance team responds within 72 hours.

How Long We Keep Your Records

We retain verification documents and transaction records for 5 years after your account closes, as our licence requires. Retention lets us answer regulator requests, resolve disputes and support any lawful investigation. When the retention period ends, we delete or irreversibly anonymise your files. You may request a copy of your records at any time, or ask us to correct data that is out of date, by writing to [email protected].

Frequently asked questions

Can I play before completing verification?

Yes. You can register, deposit and play straight away. Verification must finish before your first withdrawal, and we may request documents earlier if your account triggers a risk threshold.

How long does verification take?

Up to 72 hours, though most checks complete within 24 hours when your documents are clear and current.

Why do withdrawals go back to my deposit method?

Our same-method rule ensures funds return to the person who deposited them, which is a core AML control. Where a method cannot receive payouts, we send funds to a bank account or e-wallet in your name.

What happens if I refuse to provide source of funds?

Withdrawals stay on hold and the account remains suspended for play. If no evidence arrives within 30 days, we close the account and return the balance to your verified payment method.
